How to Lift/Lower with Torsion Bars- pickup/4Runner. How to lift or lower ride height via torsion bars on a Toyota pickup or 4Runner with some related useful info.
-Bolt takes a 7/8 socket
-Turning RIGHT lifts, LEFT lowers
-12 turns = 1 inch (at least on these stock 4cyl T-bars)
Lifting or lowering significantly in this manner will alter your alignment, will make a vid of fixing that later.
Lifting excessively this way puts your lower balljoint on a bad angle, potentially resulting in damage. Uniballs can be swapped in which are much tougher, planning a vid of that later too.
