In this video, I demonstrate how to check fuel injector pulse using a noid light. This is a great test to do when your engine is cranking over and not starting. The noid light should blink as the engine is being cranked over (or even when running). If not, there is no signal from the computer to the injectors. If the noid light stays on with the key on or cranking, this could indicate a wiring issue or a bad computer.
